Victoria Hertel is a German-Venezuelan artist, adjunct lecturer, and writer based in Singapore. Her slow-tech installations combine sensorial technologies, natural phenomena, and communication rituals to explore how ecological interconnectedness can become more perceptible and felt. Through her writing, she reflects on environmental disruptions and the way artists reveal the entanglements between technology and ecology.

Hertel received her BFA from the University of Barcelona and her MFA from LASALLE University of the Arts Singapore in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work has been presented in exhibitions and research residencies across Europe, the America, and Asia.
